Exciting class for dogs of any age which ends with an official AKC Title! Your dog will learn manners in public, basic obedience and proper behavior around other dogs and strangers in public settings. Your dog will become a well-behaved member of the community! Class meets weekly for 6 weeks and concludes with the AKC Canine Good Citizen certification exam. Dogs who pass this exam receive their official CGC title and frameable certificate from the AKC.

AKC CGC Title
This program allows your dog, upon successful completion of a final exam, to receive the AKC CGC Certificate as well as an official title to be displayed at the end of their registrered AKC name!

Beyond Basic Obedience
Class focuses on attention, sit, down, stay, come, stand, acceptance of grooming practices, acceptance of strangers and other dogs, walking nicely on leash alone and in a crowd and separation from handler.

Gateway to further titles
CGC Title is required for more advanced titles, such as Canine Good Citizen Advance, Canine Good Citizen Urban and Therapy Dog Training.
